With over 25 years of experience in communications (internal and external), marketing, public relations, and broadcast journalism, Caroline offers wide-ranging expertise in both English and French. Having worked with multi-million-dollar companies, small and medium-sized businesses as well as public organizations and foundations, her experience spans a variety of industries, which include aerospace, health, education, engineering, heavy industry, financial technology, software, finance, construction, politics, and fashion, among others.
Caroline started her career as a radio and television journalist and went on to lead corporate affairs and communications teams before starting Caroline Phaneuf Communications in 2013. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Montreal’s Concordia University with a double major in journalism and political science and a master’s degree in political science from McGill University in Montreal.
She has held positions on the boards of the Montreal Chest Institute Foundation and Edinburgh School and was the Chair of the English Montreal School Board’s Parents Committee.
